1975 BMW R-Series R90-6 for Sale
New Rochelle, NY

1975 BMW R90/6 Cafe Racer. A truly one-of-a-kind custom build. Everything completely rebuilt. In all aspects, a BRAND NEW BIKE. I've been riding Airheads for a long time. And our shop has been servicing and building custom Airheads for many years. The R90/6 is my favorite, for its versatility and reliability. Our shop restores one or two every year and we build a cafe racer similar to this one every three or four years. A properly set-up R90/6 can cruise the highways at 80 mph all day long, and rip through the canyon roads as well as any motorcycle of its era. And its reputation for reliability is legendary. COMPLETE RESTORATIONCOMPLETE ENGINE OVERHAULCOMPLETE CHASSIS OVERHAULWHEEL-TO-WHEEL FRAME-OFF RESTORATIONHIGH PERFORMANCE MODIFICATIONSAs with any full restoration, the engine and chassis have been completely overhauled. In the spirit of creativity, we've removed the entire top of the engine and fabricated a neat front engine cover to protect the electrics. The frame, rims, and other black parts have been powder coated. For increased electrical reliability, we converted to electronic ignition and an upgraded modern solid-state charging system. We machined each head to accept a second spark plug, and the spark is provided by high output coils. This set-up prevents detonation when lower octane gasoline is used, which allows us to retain the high compression of the stock engine without requiring the use of 100 octane gasoline. With dependability a priority, we performed only minor power modifications to the engine. We installed high performance pistons for a slight increase in horsepower. And we lightened and polished the rockers and lightened the flywheel, which resulted in quicker throttle response without sacrificing reliability. New York, NY

One of likely only a handful of Euro-spec 8 series in north america and likely the only example without a sunroof (slicktop) as well as no EDC. Probably one of the only car in north america equipped with full suite of exterior upgrades from German tuner MK Motorsport! Much like Alpina, Hartge, AC Schintzer, MK Motorsport offered both performance and exterior upgrades to various BMW models from the 80's and 90's. This particular car has front spoiler and MK1 wheels. Both the spoiler and wheels dramatically improve the looks of a standard 8 series. Other goodies on the car included are Eibach (Germany) lowering springs and Bilstein (Germany) shocks. All parts are period correct items with the wheels having visible âMade in West Germany â stampings. The wheels are 18 x 9.5 and 18 x 11 inch are specific to this model are regarded in the 8 series community as THE wheels for the 8 series. This is a stunning low milage example of BMW's flagship super tourer and surely appreciating daily in this condition. Clean title. 1973 BMW 3.0 CS Coupe Leather A/C PW for Sale
Rochester, NY
Jan 01, 2024
For sale this 3.0CS Coupe. It has recently been removed from storage and was brought back to life by a collector car and vintage racing specialist garage owned over the past few months. I will attempt to accurately describe the condition below. Options: This is an original factory air conditioned, 4 speed, no-sunroof CS Coupe. Which, if you know these cars, is what you want! Mileage: Original miles are just over 50,000. Body: Every BMW fanatic out there will tell you the CS Coupes are notorious for rusting, and they are not lying to you. There is now surface rust on some bare metal components and some rust that should be tended to around the right front jacking point where the undercoating trapped some moisture (pictured. ) It is still very sound and supports the car no problem but it needs to be cleaned up. There are a few other areas where the factory undercoat has peeled away from the metal, mainly around the rubber plugs in the floor. There is not rust through but I would scrape the undercoat clean, treat the metal, and re-undercoat. The only spot of rust on the body is on the lower RF fender where you can see bubbles have formed (pictured. ) This will need to be repaired but is contained to this area and appears minor. The rockers, trunk, rear quarters, floors, doors, hood, trunk lid, etc are all extremely solid and show no signs of corrosion. Paint: The car was originally silver. Receive a very high quality repaint to the current dark blue done in the 1980's. The body is dead straight and the only place you can not tell it was originally blue is the engine compartment and the trunk under the mat as I did not have those areas color changed. The paint, now some decades old, has faded. I don't know if it will buff out or not, I have not tried. In fact the car has not been detailed at all for this sale, I wanted whoever buys her to know what they are getting without any doctoring. Interior: Is all original and in excellent condition with the exception of the outside lower bolster of the driver's seat which has recently split. I have been told this panel could be replaced with matching leather rather than re-upholster the entire seat. The interior could use a good cleaning but again I wanted to show buyers exactly what it looked like after storage. You'll also notice the great vintage Motorsport 4-spoke wheel from the 1980's. The full tool kit is still in the trunk, as well as some vintage oil and fluids for you. Wheels/ tires: The wheels on the car are a fancy (for the 1980's) true two-piece basket weave wheel I have just had a nice set of Yokohamas mounted on. I also have the original wheels that go with the car. Mechanicals: The car runs, and always has run, extremely well. I was always a fanatic about maintenance. Way back when I fitted an upgraded pair of Weber carbs, an Ansa tube header, and full Ansa exhaust as well as had a BMW specialist properly tune the car. The Ansa exhaust front and mid mufflers have rusted out in storage because, well, they are Italian. It sounds great but it needs an exhaust. The engine has been checked over, fluids changed, new coolant hoses as needed, radiator cleaned and tested, fuel system flushed, etc but obviously it will need further tuning after sitting this long. The clutch and transmission are perfect. All hydraulics are great, and I just had the brake master cylinder and all 4 brake calipers rebuilt, all 4 rotors turned, and all of the brake hoses replaced with new. The air conditioning has been dead for decades but is all there. The power windows work, but extremely slowly as the regulators are likely gummed up with age old grease. The power antenna is dead. All of the gauges work, and the car has great oil pressure, sounds great, runs cool, and runs strong. This is a great, solid, 3.0 CS however keep in mind she will need some TLC, some cleaning, and basic things like an exhaust and paint if you are inclined to make it perfect again. Used 1973 50,000 miles For sale this 3.0CS Coupe. 1984 BMW M6 Coupe 5 Speed Manual! for Sale
Buffalo, NY
Jan 01, 2024
Fantastic Rare 1984 BMW M6! 5 Speed! This is an extremely rare car. BMW Motorsport introduced M 635 CSi in Europe at the Frankfort Auto Show in 1983. It is essentially an E24 powered by the powerplant of the BMW M1 - the M88 (286 PS (210 k W; 282 hp)). Most of the cars were equipped with special metric 415 mm diameter wheels requiring Michelin TRX tires. All M6 cars came standard with a 25% rear limited slip differential. 0-60 time of 6.1 seconds, better than the BMW published 6.4 and 6.8 second times for the European and U. S. versions respectively. 4,088 M 635CSi cars were built between 1983 and 1988. This car has been lovingly cared for since new. Having travelled 126,000 miles. Car starts right up, runs and drives great. Plenty of power actually amazing that it is a 6 cylinder. 5 speed manual transmission shifts very nice. It is very tight and solid. Paint is very nice but not perfect there are some chips, a couple of dings. Paint looks to be mostly original. BBS Wheels and newer tires really accent the cars looks. Interior is in very nice condition. Seats have no rips or tears. Dashboard does have a couple of cracks (see photos). If you have any questions please contact me.
