For a near half-century car in original condition, it is immaculate inside and out. The engine is the ORIGINAL U20 1982 CC ENGINE 135 H. P. along with the 5-speed manual tranny. Compression on each cylinder is 120 PSI. It only has had one fresh repaint, and the original body paint underneath shows it was in amazing condition. The undercarriage is ALL ORIGINAL and has never been undercoated and you can see there is ZERO RUST! Not even one little pinhole. It is hard to believe this car has never been restored it is SO CLEAN! It has NEW smooth and glossy paint with only a few minor imperfections that are really only noticeable from from close up. NOTE: This Datsun 2000 HAS NOT been restored. Just one simple repaint with no body work as evidenced by the undercarriage. It has survived time and shows its age very well.
