1965 Ford Mustang Convertible 289 4BBL V8 for Sale

1965 Mustang Convertible, original D code 289 4bbl V8 and C4 automatic transmission.

This is an early build (Jun 64) also noted as a 19641/2 by enthusiasts. It has received a professional ground up restoration, which included rebuilding the original engine and transmission, upgraded power front disc brakes, new springs, shocks and suspension,

an alternator charging system as well as flawless new Ferrari Red paint, red and white Pony interior and a new white power convertible top. It is show ready and well maintained with only a little more than 500 miles since the restoration. It was originally Guardsman blue with standard blue vinyl interior but was changed when restored to a brilliant Ferrari red and upgraded to a beautiful red and white deluxe Pony interior.

It also received the optional GT steering wheel and gauges. A few suspension upgrades include a bigger sway bar, gas shocks and a factory export brace to help in handling. Straight, clean and solid. Runs and drives like new.
