I just installed a new 6 volt battery a week ago and she starts instantly with no choke pull needed. The engine runs great, but has a quiet lifter tick at idle. I installed a pair of new water pumps, radiator was reworked, rebuilt carburetor and remanufactured distributor in 2007. The interior, carpet, instrument dash paint and headliner are in very good condition. The black exterior paint looks good for it's age and could use a good waxing and touch up. The body is in good condition with typical minor dings and imperfections. The bumpers are showing their age and will eventually need too be re-chromed. The Lincoln is equipped with the optional overdrive unit also and the vacuum wiper still work! The steering wheel has several cracks in the rim and will need refinishing and the two rear hub caps are missing. The clock does not keep time and radio does not play. The brakes do function , but will need attention and the clutch works fine with no slip in gear.
