This is a frame-off restored 1954 MG TF sports car. Nearly everything is either new, rebuilt or refurbished including new wood floors and framing. The car is restored to original except for the 45-amp Dynamotor alternator, voltage regulator, spin-on oil filter adapter and MGB radiator fan for improved reliability and efficiency. Original parts are included if the buyer wishes to reinstall them. The XPAG 1250cc engine and head, distributor, dual SU H4 carbs are rebuilt with K&N air filters in the original canisters, new SU fuel pump, rebuilt 4-speed transmission, new clutch, throwout bearing and differential. Had this TR8, for some time. My recent Knee injuries force my sale of her. I can no longer get in and out, of it, (I'll be 71, next month). Most of the TR8s were built with a 5-Speed Manual transmission, a few were fitted with a BW65 3-Speed, Automatic Transmission, this is one of them! Everything is still Original (excepting Spark Plug Wires, Coil, Fuel Pump, etc). She still has the Twin Stromberg Carburetors. This TR8 is in great shape, but it isn't " Perfect" it is close, However! I also have an addition set of tires and rims, to go with the car. In the last year, I personally replaced the Radiator, The Water Pump, Alternator, and Thermostat, Just because, she was probably due, for such! She Runs Great and, Needs Adopted! I don't want her just sitting in the Garage, wasting away, when there are " Ribbons" to be earned! All the chrome, trim and weatherstripping is either new or in like new condition too. The custom interior is also really cool.
