Can-Am spyder f3 se6. I bought this new in 2016. It is a base f3 but I added cruise control and a seat from an f3s. It was black and silver when bought and I used plastic coat to black it out. The inside of the engine was pristine as well with no discoloration whatsoever, like from the factory. But when I knew for sure that this bike had been ridden scarcely and was parked for most of it ’s life, was the fact that the wire connectors from the alternator/generator sitting inside the transmission cover were clear and soft, almost like new. Anyone who knows what I’m talking about will probably agree that these are in most cases burnt black and hard from the engine heat. I had to do little to the engine but replaced the top end gaskets and seals for good measure and gave the head a thorough cleaning and re-seated the valves and replaced the valve stem seals also for good measure. The bike runs fantastic, smooth and with lots of power and the unforgettable throaty exhaust note of an early CB750. It comes with a new Honda K1 seat and a new K0/K1 exhaust that I purchased from Japan. This mid-century matching numbers (3x) BMW R26 is in best mechanical condition and ready for instant use. The paint and chrome are not perfect and showing traces of use and age, though the complete motorcycle is still in a clean condition. In the beginning of 2020 the wiring-loom has been renewed, where on that occasion also the old ignition-coil has been replaced with an identical nos one. During this same time also the carburetor has been replaced with a nos German made Bing one, where also the clutch, breaker-points and condenser have been renewed. As it has since then been used frequently, we have decided to service it prior to sale a few days back, by renewing the engine-, gearbox- and rear-drive oil (all the oil we took out was completely clean! ) and checking the valve play. On this occasion we have also replaced the spark plug and exchanged the battery for a new (maintenance free) German made sealed battery. Out on the street it handles really well, just like it did on day one, where everything works like should. The odometer reading is 28554 km / approx. 17780 mile. The instrument is original to the bike and works fine, where because of the general mechanical condition I'm pretty sure that this reading can be considered as being correct. Clean title. I followed as close as possible the " AMCA" Standards along with " Motorbooks International Authentic Restoration Guide" to ensure that every part down to the Nuts and Bolts were correct with the correct Finish, such as, Paint, Chrome, Parkerizing and Cad Plating. Paint Job in Lacquer with Original 1959 Paint Codes: Calypso Red and Birch White. I followed as close as possible the " AMCA" Standards along with " Motorbooks International Authentic Restoration Guide" to ensure that every part down to the Nuts and Bolts were correct with the correct Finish, such as, Paint, Chrome, Parkerizing and Cad Plating. Paint Job in Lacquer with Original 1959 Paint Codes: Calypso Red and Birch White.
