Just 65 miles into my owning the bike, the motor blew on the freeway. Which started my odyssey in making sure this bike was rebuilt 100 percent correctly. The journey is complete, the bike is solid with just over 800 miles on it. The motor has been completely gone through with EVERYTHING either replaced or rebuilt: The bike has an absolutely flawless, hand rubbed " Indian Red" paint job that is period correct and awesome. For safety reasons, the bike was upgraded from a 6 volt electrical system to a 12 volt, making it much safer to ride at night (easily changed back if you want it to be period correct)An electric start was added ($2,500) and could once again be changed back to original. She fires up like a dream I had a hand-formed stainless steel exhaust system fabricated and installed -- which is identical to an original Indian exhaust system. Like the bike itself, the exhaust system is truly a piece of art (cost $3,000)All major motor bolts are grade 8 stainless steel bolts that have had the " grade 8" machined off of their heads and then polished Because the bike has been sitting the past 6 months, I had a new battery installed and the bike was serviced this week. 1964 Ducati 250cc F3 Corsa Very rare one of only a few true F3 250cc that Ducati produced. Professionally restored and documented in Italy. This is a beautiful motorcycle that would make an excellent addition to any garage or collection. Well known sportbike manufacturer Ducati has always been deeply immersed in motorcycle roadracing, and its premier engineer, Fabio Taglioni, was a talented designer of fast motorcycles. In the 1950's, Ing. Taglioni developed an overhead cam lightweight with desmodromic valves that became the bike to beat in international lightweight racing. Later versions of this bike came with double overhead cams. Many of the world's top rider rode a Ducati lightweight at some point in their careers. Here you go vintage bike collectors a unmolested 1973 Kawasaki Z1 900 in the famous Root Beer color. I purchased it from the original owner. It is a all numbers matching bike. The only thing not original to the bike is the tires replaced with original style Dunlops, Chain and sprockets and exact reproduction pipes. Very high quality. Runs and drives excellent as it should and everything works. Was one of my personal bikes that I rode. I cleaned carbs, fresh Kawasaki oil and filter, spark plugs, air filter, and battery. All original paint with very low 7789 miles. Gas Tank does have a few flaws but, in my opinion the bike is excellent.
