This is 1964 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport Convertible that is equipped with the original 327 engine and 4 barrel Rochester carburetor.
It has the original powerglide automatic transmission. It's has factory power steering, power brakes, power windows (which work), power convertible top. The car was sitting for a long time and recently started
to get it road worthy again. It currently does run but will need some additional maintenance to get it to be a daily driver. The things I know it needs is a tune up and the carburetor rebuilt. Possibly more. Things that have been done recently are all fluids have been changed, new exhaust, brakes have been checked and gone through, hoses have been replaced, new battery, new white wall tires, ect.
Everything works in the car except the convertible top needs the motor replaced. All lights, turn signals, gauges, factory radio, wipers, power windows all work. The car has the original blue SS interior which is in good original condition. The exterior paint was originally paint code 900 which
is tuxedo black and trim code 831B which is blue SS interior with a black convertible top. The cars exterior was repainted white and a white convertible top was installed a long time ago.
So it was a rare factory color combination. The car does have some rust in the floors, trunk, inner rocker and brace areas. The body looks straight and solid. The trim appears to be in good original restorable condition. The chrome bumpers will need replaced or rechromed.
