For those of you that know what a Rickman Honda CR750 is, you know what a unique and rare opportunity this is to own a real and surviving example in museum quality like this one is. This particular Rickman is manufactured in May of 1974, making it an early production example. The original Rickman ID plate is still attached to the head tube and is crystal clear, like new. No monkey business here! This bike is a careful build of a complete kit to correct period specifications in every detail, by one of the most expert vintage and classic European motorcycle restorer/builder in this country. The level of research, care and detail that went into this motorcycle is second to none. It is absolutely stunning, the photos don't do this bike the justice that it deserves. The nickel plating on the frame is original and completely intact. It has a rare nickel plated Japanese market side stand as well, super easy to deploy. The center stand is also nickel plated, unlike most others that are left as raw or painted steel. It's these kinds of details that sets this bike apart from all others.if you can find another like it, that is. The engine is a 1971 K1 Honda CB750 mill that has been fully rebuilt and worked with an 810cc kit, Norris R Grind cam, giving it more punch than a stock engine. Exhaust is new old stock ORIGINAL HM300 pipes with modified factory baffles. The package is complimented by carefully overhauled 28mm Keihn carbs with screened velocity stacks that enhance midrange punch. Every effort has been made to maintain the authenticity of the original kit, from the NEW as-original Dunlop K81 'TT100' type tires to the original and correct instrumentation and switchgear. This Rickman CR motorcycle is exactly as it would have appeared to enthusiasts of the day, right down to the period-correct and England-sourced “Stadium ” mirrors. The wiring harness is an NOS K3 wiring harness, as that is a little more robust, has fuses, and is easy to adapt to than the original K1 unit. The fuel tank has been internally lined with Caswell Plating's 2-part epoxy system which is ethanol-proof. So there are no worries tanking up at your local filling station. The wheels have been totally rebuilt and the spokes have been replaced with one gauge larger. All of the bodywork is original, in its original Daytona Orange gel-coat finish (not painted! ) as sold by the Rickman brothers. The only parts that have been painted are the side covers and the headlight bucket, neither of which were supplied or color-matched by the Rickmans. The bike fires right up and rides perfectly without issues, it is perfectly at home on the road, as it is on display in a museum. This 1979 Honda Goldwing gl1000 Custom Trike is a modified vehicle with updates to the exterior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 3 years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Rear end is from a 2006 Ford Ranger 4-10 gear ratio, converted over to disc brakes with Mustang drilled rotors. Custom built intake with a jetted VW carb. everything was hand built by myself. I built it to drive so it has some gravel chips and wear on the paint job. Once I got everything the way I wanted I was going to disassemble and get it repainted by a professional. It definitely catches attention and runs great. Steers hard in the corners so I was going to build springer forks with dom tubing. So far I only have the tubes machined. The motor has had all seals replaced, new clutch, new head gaskets, too many things to list. Exterior Interior Engine Deposits are nonrefundable. 1966 Honda CB450 RED DRAGON for Sale

Rochester, NY
Jan 01, 2024
Very rare, restored 1966 HONDA CB450 RED DRAGON!I did extensive research to find the history on these motorcycles. This one, as far as I know, is the only restored Red Dragon Honda 450 in the United States! I purchased this bike about 8 years ago. When I went to work on it, I noticed there was red paint underneath the black paint. I sanded down every spot on the bike down to the original red paint. (I have many photographs and videos) I even found original red paint underneath the bottom steering race when I removed the races and bearings. I initially thought that the CB450 may have come in all 4 colors that Honda provided in the 1960s: Black, red, white, and blue. But that was not the case. I found that the US market had only black bombers, the European market had a mix of black and red, white was only for the police CB450 models, and blue was never produced by the HONDA factory. I have a factory Honda parts manual for police and black bomber CB450's and they only came in 3 colors: white, black, and scarlet red. once I establish that honda actually made red ones I disassemble the entire motorcycle for restoration. All parts removed from this bike were either repainted, re-chromed, polished replaced with OEM parts or refurbished. This was a long restoration project. I never intended to have this bike for sale, it was for my personal collection. The cases were split and completely cleaned. The top end was rebuilt: new cam rollers, new cam chain, cylinders honed, new rings installed, valves lapped, new valve stem seals, and new engine gaskets and seals. Aluminum engine cases and cam covers, were polished to a chrome like finish, and the body of the engine was painted with high-temp aluminum engine paint. I did not powder coat the frame. I could not find a powder coat color that was close enough to the factory red. The Red colors that I found always had an orange tint in the sunlight. I found an actual can of factory Honda scarlet red paint that I was able to computer match and spray the bike with the absolute factory identical red paint! I still have the factory sample paint jar which will come with the motorcycle. This cost me A LOT more than it would cost to powder coat the bike! The fenders, side covers and fork tubes are painted cloud silver. The wire harness, rectifier, starter solenoid, and speedometer were completely refurbished and rebuilt by RJ cycles. My buddy Ronnie Jennings does amazing work! The speedometer, tachometer, and odometer all work perfectly. The front and rear aluminum hubs were polished and installed with brand-new brake shoes. Both wheels have chromed axles and chromed hub linkage. New Duro tires were installed, they are the closest to a factory size and tread that I could find. They look great. The rear sprocket it is an OEM sprocket with a new DID chain. The carburetors are original to the bike they were ultrasonically cleaned and rebuilt. The rear sprocket it is an OEM sprocket with a new DID chain. The carburetors are original to the bike they were ultrasonically cleaned and rebuilt. Used 1966 Honda CB 5 miles, Red Very rare, restored 1966 HONDA CB450 RED DRAGON!I did extensive research to find the history on these motorcycles.
