This Triumph X75 Hurricane was always stored in climate controlled areas and the engine cycled regularly to prevent any problems. It has not been restored and is in excellent condition. The only items that have been replaced are the kick starter rubber, the gear shift rubber, the battery, the fuel tank mounting bolt, a couple of external mount nuts and the oil filter and spark plugs were just changed. Have original main switch and fork lock keys. It does run and has great compression. I do believe that the 4746 miles on the odometer are actual miles. This is too nice an original Harley Panhead to be left to go unridden and not enjoyed. It would be great for someone interested in actually riding this old gal regularly and showing her off at bike and car shows. It is not cheap but still under market value. My reserve is exactly what the bike was appraised for by a professional appraiser. I won't sell for a penny less so if you are a flipper then keep looking elsewhere. This isn't going to be your bike. But it can be the bike for a guy or gal who wants a 100% authentic original Harley Davidson 1950 EL Panhead. I don't know where you'd find one nicer actually that can be ridden and shown immediately. The lucky person who pays the buy it now price will get 4-5K in OEM parts and accessories.spots, fender lamps, luggage racks, Buco blue windshield, rare 1950 front bumper, oil filter. Hard to upgrade 1950 HD EL. Restored from original and OEM parts. AMCA winner 2008. I am the second owner. I acquired the bike from its original family who had restored it for their father who had bought the bike new in April, 1950, to commemorate his 80th birthday. I had been looking for a birthday year 1950 Panhead for over 25 years and this one was the most original bike I had found during all that time. Unfortunately, I have been diagnosed with severe arthritis and now rotator cuff problems which prohibit me from being able to handle a 600lb motorcycle. I really meant to keep this bike and pass it on to my own kids someday. My circumstance is truly the next owner's good fortune. The bike is perfect, no issues, and the best of all, it is fully serviceable as a show bike and a head turning rider. The original $10.00 option azure blue color has been perfectly applied and really shines. I would not hesitate to go cross country on this bike. It is a one kick start once you get the sequence down. Every Panhead is a little different and has a mind of its own when it comes to starting. I acquired the bike from its original family who had restored it for their father who had bought the bike new in April, 1950, to commemorate his 80th birthday. I had been looking for a birthday year 1950 Panhead for over 25 years and this one was the most original bike I had found during all that time. Unfortunately, I have been diagnosed with severe arthritis and now rotator cuff problems which prohibit me from being able to handle a 600lb motorcycle. I really meant to keep this bike and pass it on to my own kids someday. My circumstance is truly the next owner's good fortune. The bike is perfect, no issues, and the best of all, it is fully serviceable as a show bike and a head turning rider. The original $10.00 option azure blue color has been perfectly applied and really shines. I would not hesitate to go cross country on this bike. It is a one kick start once you get the sequence down.
