This 1966 Honda CB450 K0 Super Sport, Black Bomber, looks and runs great and has a clean title. Includes all original documentation and license plate from 1966Original Honda CB450 K0 owner ’s manual The CB450 K0 Super Sport is the first Honda model CB450. Also known as the " Black Bomber" it was Honda's largest displacement motor and flagship bike from 1965 – 1969. It earned fame by winning first place three years in a row at the isle of man race 500cc class; 1965, 1966 1967. A revolutionary engine design using double over head cams and torsion bar valve springs yielded 43 BHP @ 10,000+ RPM! This model bike established Honda as a world class motorcycle manufacturer by defeating European dominance of the market. A recent restoration has been performed beginning with a full disassembly of the bike. The frame was thoroughly cleaned and painted. The fenders and side covers were painted to match Honda's original Silver Cloud color. The original gas tank was in good condition but I had it cleaned and epoxy coated inside anyway due to today ’s fuel types. The outside of the tank was painted to match original. The original tank panels were chromed and shine like new. The tank badges are quality reproductions. The rubber knee pads are original and in excellent condition. The new petbird looks great and new fuel lines ensure reliable performance. The front end has been completely gone through with new paint and original chrome. The triple tree lock looks great, works properly and I have the key. The crown is polished and the original handlebar risers are mounted with new bushings for secure and responsive handling. All of the cables, controls, switches, wiring, perches, levers, mirrors and grips, are all NOS or new quality reproduction parts. The original headlight bucket mounted speedometer/tachometer looks great and all of the lights work but the gauges don ’t function. The exhaust system is in excellent condition. The original chrome is very shiny with only some minor scratches. The left muffler has one tiny ding and each muffler has a small acid drip stain. The mufflers are solid throughout. They are quiet at idle and roar at high RPM, like they should be. It has the original waffle pattern rear foot pegs installed too. The original 4 speed engine was seized, so it was replaced with a later model CB450 K6. The 5 speed transmission is really better for street use any way. It starts right up and idles smoothly. The clutch works fine and the transmission shifts easily through the gears. The motor runs great with no smoke or leaks, but is not rebuilt. It shows it's age with some noise; but the sound isn't concerning to me. However it is noticeable to the experienced vintage rider and I wanted to mention it. The bike has been very reliable for me on local around town rides. It looks very original and the cases have a nice shine with great patina. The carburetors are clean and adjusted properly with new seals, needles, seats and a custom 6sigma jet kit. I used UNI foam pod filters because they provide superior performance and the side covers hide them well. The seat is a high quality reproduction model recently made available. No more crunchy restored seats and red foam dust all over my bike. This seat looks original and is very comfortable to ride! I also installed a new set of reproduction seat hinges from Clauss studios ensure a secure fit. The headlights, taillights, electric starter and kick starter all work properly. Along with Honda's original " Elephant Horn" that sounds great! The original wiring harness is in good unmolested condition. The rims are true and shine well with some small rust spots. The rear shocks have moderate chrome pitting. New drive chain and near new rear sprocket. The front and rear brakes have been cleaned and work fine. Both wheels have new tubes and rim liners. The rear tire is new and the front is like new vintage stock. New battery New chain New ignition switch New controls with horn, headlight and starter switches New perches, levers, grips and mirrors New throttle, clutch, brake, speedo tach cables with grey housings New handlebar riser bushings New tires, tubes and rim liners New spark plugs New petbird and fuel lines New UNI foam pod filters Rebuilt carburetors with custom 6sigma jet kit installed New seat, supports and hinges Rare original chrome taillight skirt Rare original chrome side cover bolts Rare original " Elephant Horn" in good working condition Used 1966 Honda CB This 1966 Honda CB450 K0 Super Sport, Black Bomber, looks and runs great and has a clean title. 1949 Indian Scout Great Bike for Sale

This might be the ONLY existing handmade Indian motorcycle from original Indian parts and bikes. I have a friend who is a motorcycle mechanic and an Indian Motorcycle enthusiast for the last 40 years. He has built this motorcycle from the ground up with parts that were available from the Indian factory parts bins in 1949. He says that this could have been the bike that would have saved the Indian Motorcycle company. With the introduction of the Warrior, Arrow vertical line the Indian motorcycle Co. abandoned their loyal customer base and contributed to the demise of the company in 1953. Indians designers could have continued the magic they started in 1928 with the 101 by creating an updated Scout that would have complimented the Chief and given Indian buyers what they really wanted a lighter more nimble Scout that retained all the styling cues of the earlier models. This custom bike is what Indian could have produced. This machine weighs 395 lb. Every component in it was available from the Indian factory parts bins in 1949. Build components include, Arrow frame with stronger lightweight tubing, Junior Scout fork, Scout 45 front brake, Junior Scout tanks, 741 power plant board to 37 cubic inches, lightweight parts sourced from Indian models dating back to the twenties, Sam Pierce engine mounting plates and generator drive housing. Messenger seat. If you were given the choice between a vertical 440cc scout or this 37 Cubic-in. evolutionary Scout which one would you choose? This bike starts right up runs perfectly has a Cleant title. Used 1949 Indian Scout 1,000 miles This might be the ONLY existing handmade Indian motorcycle from original Indian parts and bikes. This is a very nice restored Avenger. It starts easy and runs and rides as it should. I purchased it from a 71 year old ex dealer trained mechanic who restored it. He said the engine has been completely gone through- new crank seals etc and I am pretty sure that is the case. The bike has been professionally repainted in original colors, gas tank covers, exhaust heat guards and other parts re-chromed. The autolube is connected and works properly. All lights, horn etc work. Bike has a clear title. This bike is 51 years old, and I'm not representing it as new or perfect, but it is very nice. There is no rust, the inside of the tank is clean and full of non-ethanol gas. Tires are in good shape. Used 1968 Kawasaki A 12,454 miles This is a very nice restored Avenger. It starts easy and runs and rides as it should. I purchased it from a 71 year old ex dealer trained mechanic who restored it. It is still a low mileage mostly original bike even has the STD size factory dished top pistons for low compression are still in their noticed them when I decarbonized the top end also that is the original seat covering in place. Here is a list of repairs and Up-grades that I have done since I owned the bike:6 start oil pump drive, cam chain replaced, mag chain replaced, oil distribution seal for crank changed, gear box sprocket changed, solid state voltage regulator, Boyer Dual coil, 1968 Commando distributor in place of magneto with electronic ignition now starts with key. Bob Newby primary belt drive best on the market, cost $780 eliminated oil leaks from the badly designed steel primary cover and as an added benefit bike has less vibration also changed to the newer laminated style stator. Norvil pushrod seal conversion insures clutch stays dry. Clutch now has a sweet take up and very light lever pull. Original paint is still on frame and has rebuilt Norton Roadholder forks. Single monobloc amal #389 in place of original dual carbs. Dual leading front brake plate from early Commando a must for such a great handling motorcycle. Battery replaced this time last year Bike is ready to ride needs nothing, looks beautiful good chrome and paint , starts first kick and hardly leaks any oil. Some low points that could use some attention but are only cosmetic. Typical Atlas crack in rear fender. Original chrome on rims has some pitted mostly on rear wheel, but the tires have a lot of life left in them.
