1967 Triumph T120 TT Bonneville Numbers Matching for Sale
Metairie, LA
Jan 01, 2024
1967 Triumph 650cc T120TT Special. The TT was a high performance, factory race bike, stripped down and performance tuned to fill the niche markets of off-road racing. In 1967, at the end of its limited production run, only 900 TT Specials were built. This motorcycle was meticulously restored in 2006 and 2007. The goal was to retain all the original parts with their original-style finishes. Every nut and bolt and other parts cad plated were newly cad plated. The tank was painted with acrylic lacquer mixed to the factory paint codes and the gold stripe is hand laid. For durability, the frame and the fender braces were powder coated gloss black. All other parts were painted with acrylic enamel as original. Any unpolished aluminum castings were left unpolished. All chrome parts were re-plated. The handlebar grips are correct, and the seat cover is a NOS original. The engine was completely rebuilt with NOS parts, re-bushed and re-sealed, with new.040 over pistons for the original 11:1cr. The transmission was inspected and in like-new condition, but it was re-bushed and re-sealed anyway. The ignition is all NOS Lucas. Wheels are original factory Dunlops that have been re-chromed and laced with stainless steel unpolished spokes. The front and rear tires are original Dunlop K70s with the script 'Made in Great Britain. ' The bike comes with a VMCC Extract from Works Record confirming originality. Cosmetically, the bike presents beautifully in concours condition. The only detraction is the aubergine paint has faded to more of a burgundy color and there is a ding in it (photographed) â an easy fix Fresh from a full re-commissioning and service, the bike starts very easily in 1-2 kicks and has an extremely taut feel to the engine. Power is fantastic and plentiful, brakes work as they should and the suspension feels freshly restored. I suspect the bike was used very little since restoration. Shame. It âs a blast to ride and loud! Used 1967 Triumph Bonneville 1967 Triumph 650cc T120TT Special. 1967 Harley Davidson XLH 900CC Ironhead Sportster for Sale
Baton Rouge, LA
Jan 01, 2024
This bike is in great condition for its age you can see that from the photos. It looks great in the flesh with its matt blue paint with its GT stripe. A great start for a Bobber, Chopper, Resto or just leave it as it is and ride it. It runs like a clock, starts first go nearly every time and does everything absolutely right. Its no speed machine but it's not slow either. The XLH is meant to be electric start but the starter motor has been removed by previous owner so it is kick only now. Starter motors are easy to get if you want to out on back on it at some stage. It rides great and handles like an old Sportster. The forks are 2" over I think but I will supply the original tubes if you want to put it back to stock as well as a pair of shockers to get it up to a legal height these will be supplied with the bike at sale as part of the deal. There are small scratches here and there on the bike consistent with its age, but the paint job is almost brand new. Please Don't expect a new or restored bike because it's not! It's an old Harley it leaks a little bit of oil (might need a primary gasket)There is bits of surface rust here and there on the bike and on the spokes (not too bad) have a good look at the photos as they form part of the description. The tank is undented recently painted and original HD it looks great, the seat doesn't fit that well and may need changing or modifying. You can see in the photos it doesn't fit that great. The tyres are worn and I dont think they will pass a roadworthy. You can see the tyres are worn in the photos don't ask me what it needs for a roadworthy as I wouldn't know as all those mechanics look for different things. It will need a bit of fixing and fiddling with to get it up to 100% Here are some details: Single Disc front end, I think the caliper is off a Honda Goldwing. The forks are the later Sportster 35mm type set up as a stock narrow glide. The front brake works ok but could be better. Frame is stock and not raked etc. Bendix Carb all jetted up correctly. SS type air cleaner set up. Used 1967 Harley-Davidson XL This bike is in great condition for its age you can see that from the photos. Used 1967 Harley-Davidson XL
