1963 Studebaker Avanti Coupe Gold AC 289 R-1 for Sale

Rebuilt 1963 Studebaker Avanti R-1, 4 speed.

Very original in appearance and most running gear. Any changes from original were to facilitate everyday reliability, drivability, safety and comfort. Engine is Avanti R-1 that has been completely rebuilt. Cooling system has been modernized with aluminum radiator with electric fan system. Four speed

T-10 in excellent shape with all new clutch parts. Air conditioning system is a practically all new upgrade. Brakes have a Turner front conversion with Wilwood dual master cyl. Body has been frame off rotisserie for replacement of torque boxes. No rust on frame.

The repaint is in original Avanti Gold with urethane single stage. The quality is good but has some small chips and imperfections so not great. Bumpers have been rechromed. All glass is good, windshield is new. Most of the interior was recently redone. All gages work even the clock. Looks very nice and runs and drives great.
