Just 65 miles into my owning the bike, the motor blew on the freeway. Which started my odyssey in making sure this bike was rebuilt 100 percent correctly. The motor has been completely gone through with EVERYTHING either replaced or rebuilt: The bike has an absolutely flawless, hand rubbed " Indian Red" paint job that is period correct and awesome. For safety reasons, the bike was upgraded from a 6 volt electrical system to a 12 volt, making it much safer to ride at night (easily changed back if you want it to be period correct)An electric start was added ($2,500) and could once again be changed back to original. She fires up like a dream I had a hand-formed stainless steel exhaust system fabricated and installed -- which is identical to an original Indian exhaust system.
