I brought this bike four years from an owner that had it for 32 years. This bike is in good condition. When the bike was last used two years ago, it ran really well. I have been so busy that I have not taken it out for a drive. There might need to be a check up to get it running at its potential. I am not an expert at this type of motorbike. Fully restored 1975 Z1B with 250 miles since completion. Original frame, engine, carbs, tank, tail, side covers, instruments, fenders, wheel hubs, forks, and many other smaller items. New correct exhaust, rims, tires, wiring harness, chain, sprockets wheel bearings, brakes, and other items normally replaced during a restoration. Engine received rings, valves, timing chain, all timing sprockets and a tensioner. Carbs were rebuilt. Bike has the aftermarket swingarm bearing kit and the stem bearing kit also. Instruments were rebuilt by a vendor. Dyna ignition system is installed but the original points setup is included. The original handlebars are included and are in good shape. The tank is clean inside with no sealer. Gell matt battery. Correct Z1B handbook and a somewhat ratty factory shop manual are included. Frame and all other black parts are powdercoated. This bike is a real head turner and gets lots of attention any place you go. Imported from Milano in early 2001, this 4 Stroke Italian Classic has NEVER BEEN RESTORED but rather displays as 95% Original! It's only owners have been 2 older Italian gentlemen! I have had the original tank professionally re-sprayed in factory Turquoise Blue. I've also acquired a genuine early 60's aftermarket Sports Seat, had a quality re-chrome done on the exhaust muffler added a genuine Speedo (didn't originally come with one and still have the blank plate for the Headstem which I will supply to the buyer). It has had a recent Full Service who have also re-built the Carby and serviced the Forks. That being said, the bike starts first kick and all of its lights, speedo and horn work efficiently. The only issues are that on the bottom part of the fuel tank, around the fuel tap, the paint is bubbling slightly (see pic).
