This car, in our opinion, is one of the cleanest and thoughtfully put together cars we have ever seen. He is an awesome car! He received a Ford V6 from a Capri in 1977, according to the previous owner, and an old maintanence book we found in the car. The previous owner was obviously very meticulous in the maintainence as there are many handwritten entries for every service done since the early 70's. A ton of time, money, and effort went into the creation of this great car! The Ford V6 installation was done very professionally, and is mated to the original gearbox and rear end. He runs very smoothly with much better performance than the stock motor. Fuel delivery is provided by a Holly 2 bbl carburetor. The engine compartment is very tidy. He's got brand new tires mounted on period American Racing mag wheels. The paint was done a number of years ago and is holding up extremely well. There are a few small chips, and one touch up on top of the right front wing. There is a small " blob" about 4 mm at the bottom of the right wing. A body shop confirmed it is only that and nothing else. Unless you are looking for concourse I would not think of a respray. The gloss is very good. There is no evidence of rust anywhere, and his body is very straight. The bright work is in excellent condition and it looks as though most of it including the bumpers were re chromed very nicely in the past. Other items carried out previously: V 6 conversion - there are no leaks from the motor, and it has great oil pressure and compression. The gearbox, brakes, and clutch also perform beautifully. Oversized radiator - runs at 180 degrees all day long GT type interior - rear GT panels as well as a " conversion kit" that was evidently available a long time ago was installed to create a very clean GT type car (no folding soft top)Factory hard top - in excellent original condition. There is some spidering at the rear window hinge attachments but the Perspex itself is clear with good visibility. May want to replace the aged windscreen moulding at the front. Seats completely reupholstered - entire interior is beautiful. Complete re- wiring of the car with electrics working beautifully All new VDO gauges including GPS speedometer (speedo was installed at about the 77,000 mile mark on the original speedo. The new unit now shows just over 400 miles)New optima Red Top battery Replacement of many front suspension parts - drives solid and tight! Moto Lita steering wheel Front end components have been changed So there you have it. A fully done V6 Alpine ready to turn the key, drive, and enjoy. He comes currently registered with a clear California title. Thanks for looking! Very nice original 1965 oldsmobile starfire convertible, automatic, 425 cubic inch, 375 horse motor, runs great, shifts well, this car is very original, still has exhaust out quarters, solid trunk and floors, car was repainted once back to original color, original interior, drivers seat is power and works, needs some upholstery, other seats good, nice dash, power windows and top works well, console mounted tach works, all lights, horn, wipers work. Drives well but it is 57 years old. Chrome and trim are all pretty nice again considering its 57 years old. Odometer shows 32k miles but Im sure its been around one, nice clean engine compartment. Only rust I am aware of is inside corners of trunk lid otherwise very very clean original unrestored car. The bad boy decal and stick on numbers have been removed from front fenders. Very rare car, about 2200 convertables made. 1958 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible Stunning and extremely rare March of 1958 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible finished in its original color of L241 Bamboo over green interior! It features all of it ’s original body panels (4 fenders, doors, hood, and decklid) It has NEVER been in any kind off accident it has both of it ’s original and untouched H-clips. This is a TRUE survivor convertible which is extremely hard to find these days. Its original March of 58’ 36-hp engine and split case transmission are present and in excellent mechanical condition. The motor is tight, quiet, and very healthy. The split case trans shifts smooth and easy in all gears as it should! All of the glass is original including the windshield! The interior is original and still in AMAZING condition! There is no doubt this is a low mileage car based off of many original parts on this car. Original key included and works the ignition, door, and hood lock. The pan halves and rails were replaced in the 80’s when this beetle received its one and only color correct repaint. Since acquiring this vehicle, we have had the king and link pins replaced, front and rear soft brake lines replaced, new front wheel bearings, master cylinder, brake pressure switch, axle boots, engine oil change, spark plus, ignition wires, distributor cap and rotor replaced, starter replaced, trans fluid replaced, brake fluid flush, new TMI top boot, and a brand new set of American Classic wide walls installed from Coker Classic (all receipts available). This 58’ Convertible runs and drives EXCELLENT! We have put roughly 200 miles on the car with no issues including 40 miles of interstate driving. Everything works as it should! The convertible top is in very good shape with its only needs being a rear window seal and the headliner is not present. The exterior layer, and insulation layer are in great shape. It latches nice and tight and has been driven on the interstate with the top up and down with no issues. The paint on the car is from the 80’s and has a nice shine to it, but is far from perfect. It is very good driver quality paint. There are some dings, scratches, and chips here and there. This is an UNRESTORED car that has seen 1 repaint. Excellent driver with loads of originality which includes and extremely rare color. This is a special car with a completely matching body, pan, engine, trans, and title.
