1973 Kawasaki Z1 900 Very Nice Orange for Sale
Los Angeles, CA
Jan 01, 2024
This 1973 Kawasaki Z1 is a restored vehicle. This is the 73 Z1 survivor you have been waiting for don't miss out! This is a 1973 Kawasaki Z1 900 in very nice overall condition, with original factory matching vin and engine numbers, clean title, and tastefuly restored in mostly original condition. As shown in the photos, the bike was restored and then ridden nearly 900 miles before being drained of gas and put into long term storage. The bike will need service and maintenance to be road worthy. I have lots of spare parts included with the motorcycle including the original 4 into 4 factory exhausts in good usable condition and spare wheels. Mechanically the bike rolls smooth, stops with front and rear brakes, tires hold air, clutch engages and shifts in/out of gear, throttle turns, carbs move freely, and the engine kicks over. The battery is missing but I've tested the electrical system and everything lights up and appears to function correctly. Cosmetically I would give the bike a solid 8.5 out of 10 to the toughest critics, but many would consider the bike even nicer. 1970 Triumph Tiger 650 TR6R for Sale
Bakersfield, CA
Jan 01, 2024
1970 is often considered the ultimate year for " unit" Triumph motorcycles. They had it all-the classic beauty, more modern 12 volt electrics, twin leading shoe vented front brakes, and other upgrades just before the ugly and problematic " oil in frame" models in '71. The motorcycle offered here is the single carb 650 TR6R or " Tiger" Each Triumph model came in only one color, but different for each year. In '70 the Bonneville was maroon and silver and the Tiger was the color you see here, called " Spring Gold" It is arguably one of the prettiest Triumphs ever and is instantly recognizable as the '70 Tiger. This matching numbers motorcycle was treated to a sympathetic restoration prior to my ownership. It was repainted, engine freshened with new rings and whatever else it needed, some rechroming, and wheels rebuilt with stainless spokes. The seat, wiring, and electrics are all original and in excellent condition. The restoration was done some 20 years ago, and has had approximately 6000 miles since. Everything on the bike is OEM (original manufacture) with no repro parts. The original Champion spark plug caps are present. Even the tank badges are original UK items. A rarity these days, the original British numbered keys are present, including the correct smaller head key for the steering lock (which functions perfectly). The paint looks brand new. It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. There are two small chips in the leading edge of the fender that have been touched up and they would not show up in a photo. There is a pinhole size nick in the side of the tank paint. The rest is perfect, like glass. The frame has a couple of small nicks but is otherwise excellent and I believe it is the original paint. The chrome is near perfect with only a minor flaw here and there. All the correct stickers and decals are present and the bike comes with a factory workshop manual, owner's handbook, and the ORIGINAL factory Union numbered keys, including the steering lock key. This is a late production bike and has the correct, later black faced gauges which were phased in mid-year. The tires are older Dunlops and should probably be replaced only due to age-they have plenty of tread. The wheels are original stamped Dunlops upgraded with stainless steel spokes. The chrome is excellent on both wheels except for a small section of the front wheel that is a little foggy-again impossible to photograph but visible to the naked eye on close inspection. Everything on the bike works perfectly. It starts with one or two kicks and runs beautifully. There is no smoke and it shifts and brakes smoothly. A Boyer ignition was installed several years ago and it works flawlessly. It has plenty of power and is a super comfortable mount. It comes with a clear title. Used 1970 Triumph Tiger 19,197 miles 1970 is often considered the ultimate year for " unit" Triumph motorcycles.
