This Thunderbird has been only driven in warm weather- no heater. The 12V conversion was made, all lights were upgraded to 12V, Radio and other 6Vdc devices do not operate. Speedometer, and newly installed Oil Pressure, and Temp gauges are operational. There are many upgrades to this automobile. However, the following have been verified from records. The following list some of the modifications. 1. Rebuilt T-5 Borgue 5 Speed Transmission New Clutch Plate and bearing 2. Wilwood Front Disc Brakes Master Brake Booster New Rear Brake Pads Various new brake lines 3. 12 Conversion, 12 Volt Alternator, and necessary 12V wiring added. 4. MSD Ignition 5. CVD Vacuum chamber and electric Pump/ Provides high volume vacuum to brake booster and other vacuum systems. Vacuum is Electronically controlled to keep vacuum at operating level even with engine shut off. 6. High Volume Water Pump and Deflector plate. This water pump and deflector plate keep normal engine temp between 160 and 190 Degrees operating temps. 7. 3 Core Aluminum Radiator with temp controlled electric fan. 8. 312 Y Block Intake Manifold and Holley 680 carb installed. 9. Air operated leveling shocks in rear to level the REAR stance of the car. 10. Records show that the Thunderbird had recently had a High Grade Oil and Spark Plug change. 11. Fully Reclinable and adjustable Bucket seats with 4 point harnesses installed. 12. Chrome Spoked Wheels on all four tires 13. Safety switch inside trunk to isolate any electrical features. Car would not start if this switch is OFF. Battery Terminals inside trunk to connect a Battery Eliminator during storage season. Estate Records indicate that Six years previously this Thunderbird had been pulled out of a barn and did not haveany interior, no Standard Seat, no power seats, no power windows, or convertible Top. Does have Hard Top. The 1955 Thunderbird is SOLD AS IS and additional work is required to get it concourse ready. However, It is running and can be driven. The 12V conversion was made, all lights were upgraded to 12V, Radio and other 6Vdc devices do not operate. Speedometer, and newly installed Oil Pressure, and Temp gauges are operational. This water pump and deflector plate keep normal engine temp between 160 and 190 Degrees operating temps. 7. 3 Core Aluminum Radiator with temp controlled electric fan. 8. 312 Y Block Intake Manifold and Holley 680 carb installed. 9.
