With only 52,000 original miles and one respray in the original Mars Red (fenders were all removed, new welting installed), this is a spectacular car! Many recent repairs and replacements, everything works including the quartz clock! With fuel injection, this VW starts quickly, idles nicely and pulls strong throughout the RPM range. Many new parts include steering arms, bearings, ignition switch and Nexen radial tires (165s). Brakes work well, top works well. The top was replaced with a good quality Stayfast canvas top and a cloth interior lining. This car loves to be driven and gets tons of thumbs up and waves.
