1966 Pontiac GTO convertible restored in the correct colors, Auto on the floor, and an enhanced 389 V8 heart. A machine like this is built for show and go, and so it will never disappoint. A real-deal 1966 Pontiac GTO convertible I could start off by telling you how rare these '66 GTO convertibles are, but you already know. Refinished in a vivid coat of its factory-correct R-code Montero Red and original panels this restored droptop looks terrific in the sunlight, which is exactly what a car like this was born to do. You can really tell there was investment that went well beyond the paint to make sure the body was looking its best. Pontiac's subtle hood scoop hints at the power underneath, and the big, bright chrome bumpers are great reminders of Pontiac's wide track design. This one has all the right factory pieces, including the badging on the front fenders, callouts on the rear fenders, and the aggressive Hurst wheel package with matching redline tires. So yes, this GTO is all about the bold confidence of an iconic appearance. You get to choose the best of both worlds on this GTO. The Black power folding roof gives you a classic look open to the world, There's more evidence of a quality restoration when you lay eyes on the stellar condition of the bucket seats, fresh carpeting, and the crisp door panels with correct GTO emblems. Aiming for a touch of European feel in the GTO, Pontiac designers gave it a wood-grained dashboard that houses the round gauge cluster, heater/defrost controls, and correct AM radio. And while your left hand will enjoy the power steering, your right one will likely never want to leave the floor shifter. Pontiac's famous 389 cubic-inch V8 is the powerplant that made the GTO an icon. Presented exceptionally well in the engine bay with the correct turquoise paint on the block and intake. But, it also doesn't forget to add flair with the bright air cleaner, valve covers, and alternator. It also gets to breathe deeper than from the factory thanks to an Edelbrock 600 CFM four-barrel carburetor. The tidy presentation tells you it has been well-maintained, and they way it fires up with ease gives you real confidence in this convertible. You really get to enjoy this V8 to the fullest thanks to the control of the updated turbo 350 transmission. But more than just hear the crackle of this muscle car's exhaust, take some time to look at where it comes from. The undercarriage photos show you how clean the car is all around and just how extensive the restoration was to this rare droptop. It even comes with the original protect-plate and warranty booklet so you can tell its origins story. A real-deal 1966 Pontiac GTO convertible restored in the correct colors, much time, money, and effort went into making this the perfect turnkey show and go GTO. 1964 Lincoln Continental Suicide Convertible for Sale

Hartford, CT

1964 Lincoln Continental Convertible that is a very solid car and really just needs some small details addressed to be a very nice car. The motor sounds great, trans and brakes are great, and the overall body is very very solid for what these cars are typically. The car was put into dry storage after it was used for filming on the movie Parkland several years ago, so it will need the necessary service work that is typical from being stored over a period of time. The car was recently pulled out of the dry storage and fired up, and the motor sounds great, the transmission goes right into gear with no effort, along with the brakes being in full working order, but the car could use the fine tuning or flushing to systems that need to be addressed from sitting. There are some issues like the Convertible Top Hydraulic Lines needs to be replaced due to leakage, and it needs the typical power window switches replaced or rebuilt, along with other smaller items here or there. The front vent windows and front door windows are in working order, and the top system works if you keep pouring fluid into the reservoir as the pressure lines leak, which means the electrics are fine. The car can also use a new canvas top could even though it isn't torn, but it is old and the rear glass is yellowed, along with some stains that are not easy to remove from a white colored top. The supplied pictures of the bottom of the car will show how solid and original this car is, and you can see in these pics that the Unibody, Floors, Rockers, Trunk, Deck Lid, Door Bottoms, Fenders, Quarters, are all in awesome original and solid shape, and there is not any of the typical rust repair that these cars are known for. There are a couple small bubble spots under the older paint job supplied in the gallery, and in the pictures you will see there are 3 bubble spots with two literally being smaller than a dime, and the 3rd spot being a common spot behind the passenger door about half way up the quarter panel. That is basically all the rust issues with this one, and that is extremely hard to find, so please don't miss out on a hard to find clean freshen up car. The rear trunk lid is in perfect shape and has not been welded on or previous rust repair, and that is basically Unheard of with these cars. The trunk is solid and rust free with the exception of a small rust hole about the size of a half dollar at the bottom of the spare tire sump, and it is an extremely easy fix. This is a very nice example that really only needs tidy up, so this car will save you considerable money that would need to be spent on the typical bring back from the dead project, because we all know how expensive Rust Repair, Interior, and Chrome on these cars can be, but this car is clean and solid without those expenses. The Chrome and Trim is very nice and bright without the typical tired appearance most cars this age have without being rechromed, and that is also a huge freshen up savings packaged right into this solid example. The Black/White Tuxedo Interior and leather is in awesome shape with little to no cracking or dried area's, and the interior should be run exactly as it is as can be seen in the pictures. Used 1964 Lincoln Continental 100 miles 1964 Lincoln Continental Convertible that is a very solid car and really just needs some small details addressed to be a very nice car.
