1985 was the last year Mercedes built the gorgeous W123 series 2 door coupe. The 300CD diesel coupe was made from 1978 until 1985 and only from 1982 -1985 with the turbodiesel version. Only 8007 of these wonderful cars made it to the US. This car was always pampered and garaged and it shows. There has never been an accident and there is no rust. The paint is still original and in amazing condition. It shines like on a much newer car. The chrome is still in outstanding condition and i do get compliments on it every time i drive it. This car was finished in Mercedes Classic White ( MB color code 737 ) and Palomino color MB-tex interior. The seats are in excellent condition front and back. There are no rips or tears and the cushions are still firm. The carpets are clean, soft and there are no stains of any kind. The wood accents still shine like new and there are no cracks at all. Even the original dashboard is in perfect condition. The door-panels, the headliner and even the mirrored sun-visors are in great shape. This 300CD is absolutely stunning and gets lots of attention whenever i take it out. This car always starts up right away and it has plenty of power from the get go. The transmission shifts smooth through all the gears and it really is a fun car to drive. It is like experiencing true luxury from 30 years ago without all the electronic bells and whistles of today. There are no electronic sensors giving wrong signals every few days. If you take care of this car with simple maintenance , there is no reason you could not still be driving it in 30 years from now.
