1937 Chevrolet Business Coupe Master Deluxe for Sale

Oakland, CA

This 1937 Chevrolet Master Deluxe Coupe is a beautiful example of the art deco styling of the late 1930’s. This car has a steel body, steel doors, and steel front fenders, with fiberglass rear fenders and headlight buckets. The two-tone paint job fits the style and era of the car (Toyota Black and Range Rover Keswick Green), with a thin cream-colored pinstripe accent. The chrome American Racing wheels give the car a slightly aggressive look. Full original bumpers and bumper guards protect the car, and really set off the polished aluminum grill. The cowl vent operates smoothly, as do all the windows. The Coupe retains the original frame, with a Heidt ’s Mustang II front end. The power brakes use 11” disks front and rear. Driving the rear is a 10-bolt differential with a chromed cover. A dual full-flow exhaust with twin mufflers tuck under the car and give it a great sound. The engine is a small block Chevy 350 with a turbo 350 transmission. The engine has a: polished aluminum Edelbrock intake manifoldpolished aluminum valve coverspolished aluminum air cleaner and valve breatherchromed alternatorchromed water pumpceramic coated headersstainless steel flex fan blade The engine bay shines! A new transmission pan gasket and internal transmission oil filter were recently installed. The automatic transmission is controlled with a Lokar shifter. The interior of the Coupe was redone 2 years ago, with: new adjustable bucket seatsnew door and rear upholsterynew insulation and carpetsnew Speed Hut gauges (mileage on the odometer shows 850 miles; actaul total mileage on the car is unknown)new stereo installed in the glove compartment with 4 speakers (2 front, 2 rear). The roof is upholstered in the same material as the doors, in such a way as the original supports for the more traditional headliner are visible. The wood seen at the overhead light is the original piece placed there in 1937 (typically hidden by the headliner). To be clear, this car does not have a typical headliner – instead dynamat was applied directly to the steel roof for sound deadening and insulation, and embossed vinyl applied directly to the dynamat. It really looks cool in person. The steering wheel tilts. The three vents in the dashboard are real but non-functional; I had always intended to add A/C but never got around to it. The front LED headlights light up the road like a modern car. The rear lights are LED as well and include an LED 3rd brake light. The trunk is unfinished, and is partially occupied by a custom fuel cell. Overall, the car is in good shape. The chrome is good all around, but shows some signs of its age. The interior looks great. The chrome interior window garnish moldings really set the interior off. The exterior paint is reasonably good all around, with a few imperfections that could be addressed - I always thought I would, but once I started driving it I seemed to forget that it needed anything. The engine starts easily and runs strong and cool. Engine oil and transmission oil were changed earlier this year. As is typical for this model, the windshield wipers do not work so I don ’t drive it in the rain! Front and rear brake discs, calipers, and pads were replaced about 500 miles ago at the same time as I added the chromed power assist master cylinder. Tires are 5 years old with about 800 miles on them. 1985 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series 300CD Coupe W123 Diesel for Sale

San Diego, CA

1985 was the last year Mercedes built the gorgeous W123 series 2 door coupe. The 300CD diesel coupe was made from 1978 until 1985 and only from 1982 -1985 with the turbodiesel version. Only 8007 of these wonderful cars made it to the US. This car was always pampered and garaged and it shows. There has never been an accident and there is no rust. The paint is still original and in amazing condition. It shines like on a much newer car. The chrome is still in outstanding condition and i do get compliments on it every time i drive it. This car was finished in Mercedes Classic White ( MB color code 737 ) and Palomino color MB-tex interior. The seats are in excellent condition front and back. There are no rips or tears and the cushions are still firm. The carpets are clean, soft and there are no stains of any kind. The wood accents still shine like new and there are no cracks at all. Even the original dashboard is in perfect condition. The door-panels, the headliner and even the mirrored sun-visors are in great shape. This 300CD is absolutely stunning and gets lots of attention whenever i take it out. This car always starts up right away and it has plenty of power from the get go. The transmission shifts smooth through all the gears and it really is a fun car to drive. It is like experiencing true luxury from 30 years ago without all the electronic bells and whistles of today. There are no electronic sensors giving wrong signals every few days. If you take care of this car with simple maintenance , there is no reason you could not still be driving it in 30 years from now. It is like going back in time , when cars were built to last a lifetime and not just until the next years model comes along. The tires are like new and the rims are in great condition as well. There is no deferred maintenance and i could not think of anything it needs. There are no leaks of any kind. Everything is working as intended. Cruise control, power sunroof, power door locks and even the power antenna work correctly. All the power windows front and back go up and down all the way. The Ac compressor is new and the AC blows ice cold with the climate control working well. I would not hesitate to drive this car to the east coast at a moments notice. It has been maintained properly and it shows right away , once you drive it. You can comfortably cruise with 85mph while still getting 27 mpg of diesel With the last year of a low volume production , only 2 owners, low miles and books and records this would be a great car for any car collector. It would also be a wonderful candidate for somebody who likes classic cars , but needs it to be reliable for every day driving. The W123 series are considered some of the longest lasting and most reliable cars Mercedes Benz has ever built. Clean title. Used 1985 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series 173,800 miles 1985 was the last year Mercedes built the gorgeous W123 series 2 door coupe. 3.0 " C30A" V64 Speed Automatic Transmission Original Unmolested Car Early production 1991 Model135,000 Miles Clean title. It was a very impressive feat of engineering for the time, being the first all-aluminum production vehicle. It was hailed by many as being the every-day supercar, harnessing the performance of a Ferrari and the reliability of a Honda. Never before had a Japanese automaker released a supercar, so when the NSX came out many people changed the way they looked at Japanese automobiles. This particular NSX currently sports 135,000 miles but the mileage does not show. It is obvious this car has been kept by an enthusiast who was meticulous about maintaining their vehicles. Inside, the leather seats are still soft and supple but not stretched or worn out in any way. All the bolstering is still in nice condition without any evidence of padding having broken down over time. Turn the key in the ignition and the 3.0 v6 fires up right away every time without hesitation. The 4 speed automatic transmission shifts into gear great, as expected as the car has recently had the gearbox serviced. The engine has recently had lots of maintenance done, including a new timing belt installed along with a new water pump and many miscellaneous seals. The paint and bodywork is in great overall condition. The black is still very deep with some rock chips on the front end but nothing major. The car has very few dings throughout the body which is rare for an aluminum bodied vehicle with this amount of miles. This car is still sporting its factory 5 spoke wheels in excellent condition and has no modifications save for a hidden adapter to plug in a music device for the factory radio. It is very rare to find an early NSX such as this without any modifications done to it now a days. These cars have been known to be one of the most reliable exotic cars available on the market, making them very attractive for a buyer looking to put a lot of miles on one. Overall this would be an excellent vehicle for someone who is looking to have an exhilarating exotic driving experience without having to worry about the typical maintenance costs often associated with mid-engine supercars.
