2015 Harley Davidson Road Glide with only 3050 pampered miles. I am the original owner of the bike. As the mileage shows, this bike is still practically new. The bike has Reinhart pipes with a screamin eagle tune that was installed and tuned by the Harley dealer. The bike has tons of chrome, all the chrome parts are OEM Harley parts. There are a couple parts that are aftermarket. For example the horn is Arlen Ness, I honestly can ’t remember what else is aftermarket. The rear middle hard bag is also aftermarket, I don ’t remember the manufacturer. The trunk is mounted on an OEM chrome Harley bracket. If you don ’t like the look, the bag comes off by releasing a latch on each side. It takes about 30 seconds to remove or install. I tried to stay with OEM parts because of the quality. I used aftermarket if Harley didn ’t offer the part in chrome, or I wanted a different look. The wheels, forks, hand grips, controls, linkage, brake lines, all covers are all OEM. Indian Motorcycle was in trouble in 1951, never recovering from WWII and it's own business practices at the time. After not offering a Chief at all in 1949, in 1950 they introduced the Chief Blackhawk with a redesigned 80" engine and new telescoping forks. Production for 1951 was only about 500 total Indian Chiefs, making them one of the rarest Indians of all times. The bike has clearly been restored sometime in the past and just about everything on the bike is original or a proper reproduction. It does have a hairline crack in the paint on the left fuel tank, I small chip on the front fender and some painting rubbed off from a previously loose speedo cable on the front fender. The bike is truly impressive in person. The bike is 'Numbers Matching'. The bike was stored dry and I did start it this week without any major surgery. The tanks are as new inside (again - dry storage). It runs very well and quiet, but the 80" motors kicks pretty hard. I installed a brand new battery and case (6 volt). The bike has a new (correct) wiring harness and should be pretty dependable if you want to ride it often. Clean title. At that time, I cleaned the tank and carbs, put in a battery and itfired right up. I rode it very brieflyand then stored it in the back of my garage until about three weeks ago. I again cleaned the carbs, replaced the tankthis time, installed another new battery, new Dunlop K70 tires, new tubes, replaced headstock bearings and upper race, new handlebars, new o-ring chain, new air and oil filters, new spark plugs, new master cylinder kit, new forkboots, and new body pieces, including tank, gas cap, side covers, and tailpiece. (Original pieces can be includedin sale) I also dismantled unstuck andcleaned the clutch, and cleaned, cleaned, and cleaned some more. I've ridden it very briefly, less than a mile, and itis a beast. Brakes, clutch, tach, speedo, lights, turn signals all work as they should. It shifts through all five gears. This is a very presentable and strong running bike, butthere is certainly more to be done to bring it to its full potential. The new Doremi tank and body pieces are gorgeous, fit perfectly, and are correct colors forthe bike. The originals are available if you're picky and must have original parts. The motor starts easily, makes good (a lotof) power, pulls strong and clean, without smoke or weird scary noises. The original dealer invoice will be includedalong with early registration documents, original owner manual, a Clymer shop manual, and an Enthusiast's Restoration Manual. Sadly, no tools. At that time, I cleaned the tank and carbs, put in a battery and itfired right up. I rode it very brieflyand then stored it in the back of my garage until about three weeks ago. I again cleaned the carbs, replaced the tankthis time, installed another new battery, new Dunlop K70 tires, new tubes, replaced headstock bearings and upper race, new handlebars, new o-ring chain, new air and oil filters, new spark plugs, new master cylinder kit, new forkboots, and new body pieces, including tank, gas cap, side covers, and tailpiece. (Original pieces can be includedin sale) I also dismantled unstuck andcleaned the clutch, and cleaned, cleaned, and cleaned some more. I've ridden it very briefly, less than a mile, and itis a beast. Brakes, clutch, tach, speedo, lights, turn signals all work as they should. It shifts through all five gears. This is a very presentable and strong running bike, butthere is certainly more to be done to bring it to its full potential. The new Doremi tank and body pieces are gorgeous, fit perfectly, and are correct colors forthe bike. The originals are available if you're picky and must have original parts. The motor starts easily, makes good (a lotof) power, pulls strong and clean, without smoke or weird scary noises. The original dealer invoice will be includedalong with early registration documents, original owner manual, a Clymer shop manual, and an Enthusiast's Restoration Manual. Sadly, no tools. Headlight, tail light, stoplight turn signals, instrument lights, and indicator lights (high beam, neutral, oil, turn signal) all work fine. Clean title.
